Lance McDonald

Master Instructor

Lance is a 4th Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and a National Sparring Champion! Lance has studied many different martial arts since he was very young.  As a National competitor, he has a passion to bring out the best in his students.  He is training up and coming Champions at Defenders!

Chris Masters

Tae Kwon Do Coach - Black Belt

Chris is a 2018 Gold Medalist in Forms at AAU Nationals!  He's studied Martial Arts for over 25 years.  He's is dedicated to offering students experienced instruction in Forms as well as sparring and overall TKD skills.

Austin Hines

Tae Kwon Do Coach - Black Belt

Austin is a competitive athlete!  His experience in sports and Tae Kwon Do gives him an eye to bring out the talent of his students.  Austin competed this year at 2018 AAU Nationals and even with a hurt knee, he came in 3rd place!

Tae Kwon Do teaches active movements focusing on self control to resolve conflict with the best possible outcome.

Boxing

Rudy Gonzales, Justin"Juggy" & Aaron Pena

Work together to provide an excellent cardio workout as well as the fundamentals of boxing. We now offer Kids and Adult classes!!

Come and learn how to use your hands, feet and head movement to improve boxing basics for any martial arts.   

We do footwork and head work drills, partner drills as well as offense and defense combos inside the ring. We will practice on the boxing bag and pads.  Great for competitors and beginners!

Cardio Kickboxing

This hour long class combines high intensity bag work and pad work finishing with with some strength and conditioning circuits.  Great for beginners to learn the punch and kick number combos. Also great for anyone looking to tone up and trim down!

Black Belt 

Learn to take your opponent to the ground! Grappling and Wrestling skills will help you defend yourself against someone that may be bigger than you are. Come and practice the techniques of holds and locks in our SportsPlex each day. All levels of experience are welcome!  

MMA

In this class you will learn how to use your striking to set up a take-down or to defend a take-down. We also go over a lot of wrestling, Jiu jitsu and ground and pound positions and moves. We also practice a lot of bag work and pad work. Great for competitors and beginners!
